Course 8.7: Directions in television and screen presenting
Okay, so what exactly is meant by television and screen industry? It has a lot in common with either theatre and movies, but still there are some differences. For example, television uses a lot of teleprompter or teleplay (projecting the script right underneath the lens) and most importantly, you are talking directly towards the viewer by looking into the lens. In movies and in theater, the audience is indirectly spoken to, as if they are bystanders.
