Performing is one of the most comprehensive job categories in the casting business. When you’re active as a performer and someone comes up to you and asks you what you do for a living, you can’t simply say: ’Yeah, I’m a performer. That’s what’s up’. Performing covers a wide range of very different and diverse jobs, from the really obvious ones to jobs you might have never thought, or even heard of. For example: you can perform as a clown at kids’ birthday parties or play the saxophone and dance on a stage in a nightclub and in both cases you can call yourself a performer.

You’ll learn more about it in this iCasting academy lesson.
