Course 5.6: Posing on camera

Now, there are a few things you should do every time before you jump in front of a camera and start posing. The preparations we’re going to talk about in this lesson, apply to all sorts of modeling photo shoots; No matter if you’re posing for a magazine or a commercial, or you just want to gain some experience and get some modeling shots of yourself, the amount of preparation and professionalism with which you should approach a shoot, is always the same.

There are quite a few things you can do to prepare before going on a photo shoot. The basics are always to be well rested and hydrated properly. If you know you have a photo shoot the next day, don’t spend the night before out partying with your friends. No. Get a good night’s sleep, because photo shoots can take a long time and become quite tiring after a couple of hours. If there are any clothes you would like (or have been asked) to wear, make sure they are wrinkle free and folded neatly the night before the shoot. Wrinkle, and hair-free clothing will help make your image much more professional.
