Course 5.4: The basics of posing
Posing, for the uninitiated, is defined by Webster as ‘a bodily attitude or position, especially one assumed for an artist or a photographer’… I couldn’t have said it better myself. Posing may very well be one of the most important parts of modeling and knowing how to strike a good pose - host strikes a good pose and stands still for a few seconds - and holding it, are a key part of being considered a proper model. In this lesson, we’re going to talk about the basics of professional posing, what posing looked like a couple of decades ago, how models pose today, and, most importantly, how you can start practicing posing right this second? You ready? Let’s get posing!
